Property Description
Description: Crop Circle Farms is an unrestricted property just a few miles north of the state line in “agriculture country” with large surrounding landowners. It is nestled in between many center pivot irrigated farms. For most deer and turkey hunters, I do not need to explain how this creates an ecological breadbasket that raises the nutrition levels for wildlife year-round. If someone is center pivot farming, they typically grow crops year-round to justify the investment. If you are lucky enough to hunt near this kind of farming, especially between a couple dozen, then you know what I am referring to. It creates a significantly boosted ecosystem.
There is over 1,100 ft of county-maintained road frontage on Joe McNeal Road, with a locked double gate at the front. This is where an established, internal road system begins and continues through most of this property. There are 21 acres of 10-year-old loblolly pines, which make the perfect buffer along McNeal Road. There are approximately 20 acres of hardwoods with a stream running through them. Overall, this property is relatively flat with a gently sloping topography. There are several spots to place an RV or a cabin within a couple hundred feet of the power running down the county road. A shooting house faces south near the northern border, creating the perfect spot for a second deer plot.
Location: This property is 5.4 miles north of the Alabama/Florida line, 22.6 miles southwest of Dothan, and 23.9 miles north of Marianna.
Access: Head southeast on US-84 E for 17.0 miles. Turn right onto S Springhill Rd and go 5.1 miles. Turn left onto Joe Ray McNeil Rd, and your destination will be on the left in 0.4 miles.
